Gasha watches was founded by two childhood friends Banteamlak Tesfaye & Engineer karu Adugna who madly fall in love in their Highschool and later become One as husband and wife, blessed with three beautiful kids. We spend almost 7 years learning the industry. Designing and prototyping extensively to make sure that we put our best foot forward when we introduce ourselves to the

About Gasha

Is The warrior shield defensive weapon which protects the warrior from his enemy’s blows and could be used to deflect thrown spears and other missiles, this type of shield is called “GASHA” in Amharic. To know More.

Gasha was considered of large importance among warriors and carried by high ranked masters to show his importance. During the reign of the emperors in 18th century most warriors were equipped with a shield (ጋሻ), sword, ‘shotel’ with its distinguished curved and speared or musk. Inspired by the ancient Ethiopian language and number of the Ge’ez.

Our Motto

Ethiopia is the first black country in a black nation’s history, the only country in Africa that stood against colonization and never colonized, Guaranteed independence of a Ethiopian and dignity of black people all over the world in the battle of ADWA in 1888 e.c.

Projects We are Targeting

Missions that aim to alleviate the suffering of children affected by the recent war and conflicts in different regions of our country.

• Clean water providing mission: In many regions of the country, there is no clean water for miles, and fetching water mainly falls on the women and young girls. projects bring clean water to the villages and schools, so the girls no longer had to stay home to help with this chore. Projects enable young girls to dream like any young child, go to school without being held back, and stay healthy and become a productive part of the community.
